The Coastal Sea Wolves of British Columbia - September 28 - October 6, 2025 - Fully booked.

Join me on a challenging expedition in search of the rare and elusive coastal Wolves of British Columbia.
Coastal wolves can only be found in southwestern Alaska and west of the Coast Mountain Range, which separates coastal from interior areas of British Columbia. In BC, this includes the Great Bear Rainforest, many islands and archipelagos in the Salish Sea (including Vancouver Island), and along BC’s coast.

Coastal wolves’ biology and ecology includes a unique diet heavily influenced by marine resources, distinct behaviours such as swimming in the open ocean between landmasses, and morphological differences to their interior conspecifics, such as darker pelage, smaller size, and distinct cranial and dental morphology. Coastal wolves are fast, powerful swimmers who often paddle miles between islands in search of food. This trip is geared towards serious wildlife photographers who understand they are pursing a highly elusive animal Contact me for more details.

Wild Giant Panda and Sichuan wildlife winter Tour - March 1 - March 16, 2026 - now booking, a small group of 5 photographers - 2 spots available.

China is rarely considered a prime destination for wildlife enthusiasts or mammal watching, with most people's perceptions limited entirely to the Giant Panda. This one species holds such iconic status worldwide that it is difficult to picture them as wild animals living a life separate from human disturbance.

However, a growing number of Giant Pandas are now thriving in the wild. Spotting them in their natural habitat remains an extreme challenge; it's a little-known fact that over 99% of published panda images are from captive breeding centers.

During this unique expedition, we invite you to take on the rare challenge of observing and photographing a genuinely wild Giant Panda.

This specialist wildlife tour of Sichuan offers much more than just pandas. We have allocated several days to seek out and photograph other exceptional species. Highlights include the beautiful Golden Snub-nosed Monkey, Red Panda, Sichuan Takin, and an array of spectacular avian life, such as the White-eared Pheasant, Blood Pheasant, Lady Amherst's Pheasant, Chinese Monal, and many more. Ellesmere Island, Canada expedition - April 20 - May 7, 2026 - Fully booked!

This trip has a very specific goal, to find and photograph the white Arctic Wolves who live on this island but we may also find other arctic wildlife such as Polar Bears, Musk Ox, Arctic hares, Arctic Fox’s, Prairie caribou, Seals, Lemmings, Snowy owls, Rock ptarmigans and more. The Arctic Wolves of Ellesmere Island have been professionally photographed by no more than 40 people in the history. The estimate is that there are only about 200 wolves living on Ellesmere Island, the tenth largest island in the world, slightly smaller than Great Britain. We will be heading to the north west side of the Island where some of the wolves packs are completely naive to the presence of people since they have never been persecuted or encountered by man.

Pallas’s cat (Manul) kittens workshop in Mongolia - July 30 - August 9, 2026 - Guided by Dafna Ben Nun - 4 spots available.

This trip is very much an adventure as we visit the vast open wilderness of Mongolia in search of it’s elusive small wild cat.

At that time of the year we will be looking for kittens emerging from their dens among the rocks and starting to explore their world while waiting for their mother to return from her hunt. The kittens are fascinating and entertaining to watch and photograph as they begin to follow their instincts and attempt to playfully catch anything that moves. At this age it is possible to observe and photograph interactions between the kittens, and with their mother - something that is very difficult to witness at other times of the year.

Wild Indonesia - Javan Rhino and Sumatran orangutan expedition - August 1 - August 16, 2026 - 1 spot available

Join an exclusive, expedition-style trip in search of the rarest large mammal on Earth: the Javan Rhino.
The Javan Rhino is on the brink of extinction. A 2023 WWF report estimates only about 45 individuals remain in the wild, and none are in captivity. These incredibly elusive animals have been seen in their natural habitat by fewer than 50 people in modern history.

This expedition is strictly limited to just four participants (including myself) to comply with rigorous permit regulations for the core area of Ujung Kulon National Park, the species' final stronghold. This tour is one of the first to take a small, dedicated group deep into the park.

Please note: Seeing a rhino is far from guaranteed. However, by participating, you are contributing to a vital conservation effort, helping to shine a light on this species and aiding in the fight to save it from extinction.

The journey continues to Gunung Leuser National Park in Sumatra, home to the world's largest remaining population of wild Sumatran orangutans. Here, we focus on observing entirely wild orangutans—a distinctly different and more authentic experience than visiting semi-wild feeding stations common elsewhere in Indonesia.

While many of the park's inhabitants, such as Sumatran tigers, Sunda clouded leopards, and Sunda leopard cats, remain highly elusive, we have excellent chances of close encounters with wild orangutans, Thomas’s langurs, white-handed gibbons, long-tailed macaques, and a rich diversity of birds, reptiles, and insects.
